Fast CRM is a Fast Technology product, built in Pune (Nigdi) by Improsys — a company whose name is short for "improvement in systems". We build the 12-product Fast Suite on one shared platform, and Fast CRM is the sales-pipeline front end: lead, enquiry, feasibility, estimation, quotation and order acceptance, with follow-up dashboards, Customer 360, telephony/IVR and feedback — over one SQL Server database, cloud or on-premise, for manufacturers across India and worldwide.
Improsys started the way most useful enterprise software starts — by watching a real problem happen inside a real business, and deciding it shouldn't be that hard.
The name is the mission statement: Improsys — improvement in systems. Long before there was a "Fast Suite", there was consulting work with manufacturers around Pune: mapping how a raw lead became a technical enquiry, how an enquiry needed a feasibility and an estimation before a price could be quoted, how a negotiated quotation became a confirmed order, and how often those chains broke in an enquiry register, a spreadsheet of quotes, or somebody's memory of who promised to call the customer back. The software grew out of the process work, not the other way round. That's why every Fast implementation starts with your process map and a gap analysis, not a feature checklist.
Out of that consulting practice came a single, long-lived business platform — and out of the platform came the 12-product Fast Suite: Fast ERP, Fast CRM, Fast Quality, Fast Complaint, Fast Billing, Fast WMS, Fast Inventory, Fast Production, Fast Planning, Fast Maintenance, Fast Audit and Fast Project Management. They aren't twelve separate codebases bolted together; they are one ASP.NET and SQL Server platform with different module clusters switched on. Fast CRM is the sales-pipeline profile — lead, enquiry, feasibility, estimation, quotation and order acceptance, with follow-up, Customer 360, telephony and feedback enabled. It runs standalone as a sales office, and because every product shares the same customer, item and user masters, expanding into production, billing or service later needs no duplicate data entry and no integration project.
That is what makes Fast CRM different from a contact-centric CRM bolted onto a separate ERP. Every enquiry, quotation and order is a real commercial document in one shared document engine, discriminated by a code — LD for a lead, EQ for an enquiry, QT for a quotation, OA for an order acceptance — and advanced through a defined status lifecycle. When the sales team wins a quote, the confirmed Order Acceptance is the hub: it flows into production (the BOM and work order the factory builds), into billing (the dispatch and invoice raised against it) and into service (the feedback and complaint tickets that reference the same party and order). At the reference deployment Nikhtish Engineering, an engineering supplier, the sales pipeline runs straight into production and quality on one database — because that's the point: software should track the customer from first enquiry to final invoice, not just store a phone number.
Today the whole suite is built and supported from one base in Nigdi, Pune — by the same team that answers your support calls. Under the Fast Technology brand, we are a global vendor serving manufacturing businesses of every kind across India and worldwide, cloud and on-premise, and we still measure ourselves the way a consultancy does: by whether the customer's system actually improved.
These aren't framed posters on a wall — they're the questions we ask before any feature goes into a Fast product.
Every implementation starts by mapping how selling actually flows — how a lead is qualified into an enquiry, who signs off an estimate, how a quotation is revised and approved, how a won quote becomes an accepted order — followed by a gap analysis. Then the software is configured to fit. Requirements are captured in an SRS and signed off before anything is built.
A manufacturer's CRM has to carry item lines, drawings, terms and references — not just names. In Fast CRM the enquiry, quotation and order live in one document engine as a linked chain, so an EQ, its QT and the resulting OA reference each other and nothing is re-keyed when a quote is won.
If a customer, item or user is entered once, it should never be typed again in another module. All 12 Fast products share one data backbone, so you can start with the sales pipeline now and expand into production, billing or service later with no data migration and no integration project.
Whether it's a standalone sales office or the full pipeline feeding production and billing, these are the fixed points of every Fast implementation.
Information security and quality management standards we hold ourselves to.
Every Fast product runs standalone and shares the same data backbone when combined. Each of these is a profile of the same platform as Fast CRM — start with the sales pipeline and expand with no migration.
