Price built from a BOM, not a hunch

Once an enquiry is judged feasible (status 32), feasibility & estimation costs it (status 33) by building an estimation structure against a BOM/BOR — material, bought-out parts, machining and process — so the price is derived, not invented. A techno-commercial review finalises it before the quote goes out, and the same structure is reused when the order is built, so the estimate and the shop floor agree.

Quotation management carries your commercial terms and parameters onto the print, versions each revision with full history, and gates the quote behind an approval step before it goes out (status 34). Won quote becomes the order the factory builds

On a win, the quotation converts to an Order Acceptance (OA) at status 35 — carrying the same items, drawings, agreed rates and references, checked, released and completed through a controlled gate. Sample orders (SMOA) and tooling orders (TOA) are tracked as sub-types with their own dashboards. The released OA is the handoff artifact: Fast ERP & Billing plan, build and invoice against it — no re-keying.
